With its green stripes with rich purple underside this is a showstopper plant. Known by several names including never never plant, calathea and prayer plant. The Prayer plant name comes because these plants like to curl their leaves up at night, and its said the curled leaves look like praying hands.
- Cut back by removing the top of the plant if it grows too tall.
- We recommend using a general purpose house plant food once a month in the summer and spring for plant health and growth.
- Suitable for Bright spot, out of direct sunlight. Minimum room temperature 13°C.
- Keep compost moist but not soggy. Do not allow compost to become waterlogged.
